Who you are dealing with

Legacy Screen Printing, 407 Route 6, Suite 3, Mahopac, NY 10541. We print, embroider and decorate apparel and related goods to order. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

Quotes

Written quotes are honoured for 30 days. After that we may need to requote — blank garment prices move, sometimes sharply. A quote covers the specification described in it; changing garments, quantities, colors or print locations changes the price.

Artwork and proofs

We send a proof before production. Nothing goes on a press until you approve it, and what you approve is what we print — see returns and refunds.

Artwork you supply should be as high quality as you can manage. We will tell you if a file won’t reproduce well, and we can redraw it for a fee if you’d rather we did.

Rights in the artwork you send us

This one matters. By sending us artwork you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, and you agree to cover us if that turns out not to be the case.

We decline work that reproduces a brand, team, character or photograph the customer has no right to — not to be difficult, but because the liability lands on both of us. If you’re unsure whether you have the rights to something, ask before you order rather than after.

Your goods, our goods

We supply blank garments unless you’d rather bring your own. Either is fine. Stock you supply is covered by the section on the refunds page — the short version is to send a few spares.

Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 2–5 business days, depending on the garment and what's in stock. That clock starts when the proof is approved and any deposit is paid, not when you first call us. It’s an estimate made in good faith, not a guarantee — supplier backorders happen and we’ll tell you as soon as we know.

Need a firm date? Say so when you order. We’ll either commit to it as a rush or tell you honestly that we can’t.

Payment

Orders over $250 take a 50% deposit before production begins, with the balance due on collection or before delivery. Smaller orders are payable in full up front. Accounts may be arranged for schools, municipalities and regular trade customers.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — see our privacy policy. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.

All decorated garments are final sale. Decorated goods cannot be returned or exchanged; where an order is not what you approved, we remake it. The full position is on the returns and refunds page.

If something goes wrong

We put right work that isn’t what you approved, on the terms set out on the refunds page. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We aren’t liable for indirect losses — a missed event, lost sales, or costs elsewhere in your plans.

We hold finished goods for 30 days after we tell you they’re ready. After that we may charge storage or, after six months, dispose of them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Putnam County, New York.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the day you place your order, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
